Works - Migori Airstrip has been instrumental in one of our major services in the East Africa tourist circuit by connecting the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and The Serengeti National Park ecosystem In Tanzania. The closure of the Airstrip will enable the upgrade of its runway, construction of an apron, perimeter fence, washing closet, mini lounge and Patrol road around the facility which is precisely located some eight kilometres from Migori town and 22 kilometres from the Kenya Tanzania border. The project is estimated to complete in a span of 12 Months and pave way for 3 months inspection services.

Bookings All our Mara Serengeti Mara bookings will therefore be provided via our Wilson Kilimanjaro Wilson services. This means that your guests in the Masai Mara will fly back to Wilson airport connect the Wilson to Kilimanjaro Service, then with our subsidiary and partners in Tanzania fly from Kilimanjaro to Serengeti Airstrips. The same will apply for passengers flying from Serengeti to Kilimanjaro, then Kilimanjaro to Wilson and finally from Wilson to the Masai Mara.

Changes in Pricing and Timings - there is going to be a price variation, and time variation using our Kilimanjaro Express services. We would like to assure you that despite the change, our aim remains true to connect your safari across East Africa Region. We will also need your help and understanding for what this new change means.

  1. For all ticketed and paid for bookings as of 16th July 2020, we will honour and re-protect the passengers on the Wilson Kilimanjaro service without revising the fares.

  2. For all non-ticketed and quoted - for bookings, a change in fare will apply and our reservations team will be emailing you updated statuses. Kindly refer to your contract rates for Mara and Kilimanjaro services and our schedule timetable for departure and arrival times respectively.

2021 & 2022 FARES

Part of our Recovery Measures includes restoring traveller confidence with our new safe and clean label ‘The Best Flyer Standard Care’. These actions are essential, but to aid the tourism economy and get businesses up and running we have made a decision to freeze our 2021 fares to apply till Dec 2022.

Demand for travel will slowly but surely grow. Our resumption of flights will therefore require adjustments on some services including minimum numbers as follows.
