Special Fuel Surcharge

Over the last few months, fuel price has gone up by approximately 50%. Airkenya has been absorbing the increment hoping that the trend would reverse. With the happenings in Europe, this seems unlikely. Hence, we have no choice but to share some of the increment with our passengers.

Moving forward, a special fuel surcharge of USD 5 per sector will apply to all 2022 tickets with travel dates starting from 1st July 2022 regardless of the booking period, including bookings held provisionally. Therefore, a one-way ticket will go up by USD 5 while a return ticket will go up by USD 10. Should you amend a flight ticket with the aforementioned travel dates, the re-issued ticket will be subjected to the surcharge.

NB: Tickets already issued will not attract the surcharge.
