Unah Khamasi

Operations Manager

An experienced flight operations officer, Unah oversees all ground and safe air operations of flights, as well as flight planning and scheduling. Before joining Air Kenya 10 years ago, she worked as a dispatcher in both large and small airports within Kenya and Tanzania. Her many qualifications include a Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) Flight Operations Officer’s Licence. Unah is a founding member and the President of the Kenya Chapter of Women In Aviation International (WAI).

Unah is passionate about bringing up young women in the aviation industry, “I feel accomplished when I can assist a young lady realize her dreams to become a pilot, flight dispatcher, engineer or cabin crew through the mentorship programs and scholarships available at WAI and through internship programs at AirKenya.”
