Core Values and Safety Culture

At AirKenya, flight and ground operation safety are paramount. It is our policy that all employees participate in and adhere to our Flight Safety Program, which supports our continuous efforts to meet international safety levels and management of risks.

All our pilots and engineers are trained by Flight Safety International and stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world, with continuous refresher and simulator training in Toronto, Canada and Kansas, USA. When you step aboard an AirKenya aircraft, you know you are in good hands.

Our exacting standards of safety in our day-to-day operations are guided by the regulatory requirements set by the international safety body, ICAO, and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).

We are proud that many of our pilots have graduated through our ranks to join famous international carriers around the world – a testimony to the high standards we set. To date, more than 15 pilots have gone on to advance their careers with international airlines such as Kenya Airways, Emirates, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathy Pacific and the royal fleets of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
