Crisis Management (Emergency Response Plan (ERP)

We appreciate that total elimination of occurrences, incidents and accidents is unachievable. Preparing for the unthinkable is challenging, but it is an important part of our culture at Airkenya. In order to deal with unfortunate events, we have developed a comprehensive EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (ERP). We believe it’s better to be prepared for something that doesn’t happen than be unprepared for when something that does.

Audits & Inspections

The most recent audits and inspections we have had are as follows:

• In April 2019, Airkenya successfully underwent a very thorough safety audit which was conducted by an international audit company Aviation and Marine Solutions International (AvMASSI) with a high recommendation.
• Airkenya also successfully completed a rigorous five-phase recertification process by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) in May 2019.
• 01st – 02nd July 2019, KCAA Airworthiness Department audited our Engineering section with very satisfactory audit outcomes.

We continue to meet the established requirements and function at the level of competency and safety required by the State.
