The DHC 8-202 is a classic turboprop, first manufactured by de Havilland Canada, modelled after the Dash 7.
It became the first of the Dash series to be manufactured with a pressurized cabin, under Bombardier. The aircraft has improved cruise performance and combines turboprop attributes with jet-like features. The Dash 8 is larger and faster than its predecessor and is even more robust when using unpaved runways, making it an ideal aircraft for bush flying.
